Luigi Bosca Finca la Linda Malbec 2005 Wine Review (NW)

Tasting notes:

Blackberry and currants on the nose

Juicy palate of rich fruite

Finishes with berries and dark chocolate

The Malbecs from Argentina can be dark and dominant. that one has those qualities, although somewhat simple in composition, at a fair price of $11 or so. In that price range they tend to be simple, but they often carry a nice flavor profile that compliments

hearty food.

Overall, the prices of Malbecs are on the rise and I’m often surprised to see wines I bought just five year ago at $12 now selling at $18. Hopefully, the quality uptick will continue considering they are nearly can’t miss in that price range.

Raise a glass!
